You are an independent contractor, not an employee of LOBB. LOBB does not control how you coach, what methods you use, or the specific content of your sessions. You are fully responsible for the quality and safety of your coaching services.
LOBB's role is to connect you with players, handle the booking and payment process, and maintain your public profile on the platform.
This agreement does not create a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and LOBB.
Here is exactly how money works for every session you complete through LOBB.
LOBB releases your payout two hours after the session's scheduled start time. The funds are transferred to your registered bank account. Depending on your bank, this typically arrives within 1 business day (Paystack T+1 settlement).
You will receive an SMS notification when your payout is initiated.
You must connect a valid Nigerian bank account during onboarding. Your account name must match your NIN/BVN name exactly. If they do not match, your account cannot be approved and payouts cannot be processed.
If you need to change your bank account at any time, contact coaches@lobb.ng. Your payout will be paused until the new account is verified — this typically takes 1–2 business days.
If you cancel a session at any time, the player receives a full refund automatically. You receive one strike on your account.
If you do not show up for a confirmed session (no-show), the player receives a full refund and you receive one strike.
Strikes can be disputed by contacting coaches@lobb.ng within 7 days of the strike being issued. LOBB will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
If a player does not show up for a confirmed session, you receive 50% of your session rate automatically via payout release. No action required on your part.
As a LOBB coach, you agree to:
LOBB may immediately suspend a coach account where a code of conduct violation is reported, pending investigation. Serious violations will be reported to relevant authorities.
Through your coaching activities on LOBB, you will have access to players' names, phone numbers, and personal session notes. This information is shared with you for the sole purpose of delivering the booked coaching session.
You agree to:
This confidentiality obligation continues after your LOBB account is closed or terminated.
Your coaching methods, session plans, and professional techniques remain yours — LOBB does not claim any right over how you coach.
However, by uploading a profile photo, demo video, or any other content to LOBB, you grant LOBB a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content on the LOBB platform and in LOBB's marketing materials, for as long as your account is active. You can withdraw this permission by removing content from your profile or closing your account.
You confirm that you own or have the right to use all content you upload — including any music, footage, or images in your demo video.
LOBB is required to verify your identity before you go live. This includes verifying your NIN and BVN against government records. This process is conducted by a third-party verification provider (currently Smile Identity or equivalent).
By submitting your NIN and BVN during onboarding, you give explicit, informed consent for LOBB and its verification provider to process this sensitive identity data for the purpose of verifying your identity. Your verification data is stored securely and retained for a minimum of 5 years after account closure in compliance with anti-money laundering law.
Full details of how LOBB handles your personal data are in the LOBB Privacy Policy.
You may close your LOBB coach account at any time by contacting coaches@lobb.ng. Any confirmed upcoming bookings must be honoured or cancelled (with players refunded) before your account can be closed.
LOBB may suspend or terminate your account if you:
On termination for cause, outstanding payouts for already-completed sessions will still be processed. Payouts for disputed sessions may be withheld pending resolution.
You are an independent contractor. You are solely responsible for your own professional conduct, the safety of your sessions, and compliance with any professional standards or certifications relevant to your coaching.
LOBB is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from a coaching session. You are strongly encouraged to hold appropriate personal liability insurance for your coaching activities.
LOBB's maximum liability to you for any matter arising under this agreement is limited to the amount of commission earned by LOBB in the 3 months preceding the claim.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be referred to mediation, and failing that, to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
For any question about this agreement, contact: coaches@lobb.ng
Use these checkboxes on the final step of coach onboarding. All three must be ticked before the profile can be submitted for review.
